I agree, this should be a great thing for staff who are stressed or otherwise dealing with things.. I like that.

It's decent but there is definitely more that they can do to improve the experience for workers. It's not like Amazon has a great reputation for treating their staff well

My brother worked at our local Amazon warehouse for a couple of years and has nothing but nice things to say about them.

I have heard the horror stories though...!

Maybe it depends on the warehouse and the managers. I guess we tend to hear the positive stories a lot less because most people will automatically assume it's just PR from Amazon.

Don't get me wrong, they had a pretty high turnover for staff - but those warehouse jobs often attract a core of good hard working people then the rest of the staff is made up of temporary .... less good people.

Sometimes these stories come from people who don't want to do a hard days work ;)

Haha, I guess so, especially with COVID where people lost their jobs so took jobs that they maybe are new to and not in an industry they have previous experience in. If you're not used to the high-speed workload, it can be a bad first experience.

To be fair, amazon do pay poorly. Those warehouse type jobs should absolutely be higher earning as they are so vital to our economy.
