This is a discussion that always comes up whenever there's a terrible mass shooting that occurs in the US. Do violent video games actually cause people to go out and harm others? In my own opinion they do not. I've been playing rated M games since I was a child, my parents trusted me enough to know that the games I played were fictional and not real. I'm sure if I did start showing signs of bad behavior they would have taken access away from playing violent video games. I believe that a number of things lead up to violence, and it's not media that causes it. There's always a deep rooted issue that causes people to go off and harm others. I'd like to hear everyone else's opinion on the matter.
