Yeah, this is rather sad :( . I guess the lockdowns have been especially tough for them - with their school and their social lives being disrupted.

I hope the new mental health teams are able to help.

I really felt for my children in the lockdowns and we did everything we could to make them as "normal" and fun as possible. We went on adventures, we went to every nature reserve in the area, went bug hunting, did lots of chalk drawings outside and painting etc. I introduced them to cooking and even cleaning in the home, anything to keep them busy during the day. It was good when the school introduced the learning from home stuff, because that give them at least a small window of normality in their day.
