I was well pissed off at the makers of this movie. Not that it's bad, in fact it's excellent and more protracted than the original movie. What narked me more than anything was when it got to the part when Paul Atreides was just joining the Fremen the bloody credits started to roll. I then found out by Googling that this movie is just PART ONE - there was no mention of this when I went and bought the damn thing from the Sky store, so now I have to wait until 2023 before I can see the conclusion. I thought there was something strange when the title of the movie appeared on screen with the sub-heading Part 1 - I thought that, perhaps, the movie was divided into chapters, but no, 2023 is when the concluding part can be seen, so be wary about buying it in terms of not being able to watch the full story unfold. Very well made and acted, but people should have been warned so as to avoid disappointment. Bugger it.

Haven't read the book but the trailer looked pretty good. Definitely a movie that I will watch at some point when I get the chance

I'm a huge fan of the original movie (I haven't read the book) and am really looking forward to this new release!
