Anxiety Palpitations due to anxiety

I get massive palpitations when anxious. They are quite debilitating sometimes and the only thing medically we have found to help is a beta blocker. I take propranolol 40mg twice daily, coincidentally for something unrelated but it has the positive effect of preventing these palpitationsn

Does anybody else suffer from this..?

Glad you found something that works. I get palpitations if my thyroid medicine is too strong and it's really annoying when I'm trying to fall asleep.

I've taken that before and it was mildly helpful. My g/f takes it and it helps her relax.....

I used to have issues with this when my anxiety first started. It seems as though it isn't so much of an issue for me now that I am older but I did notice that I will feel my heartbeat EVERYWHERE when my anxiety is acting up. It makes it hard to sleep when it is doing this.
