Great videos, still, very, very hard to cope with, but redirection is an effective tool to help calm them and ease a situation, for sure.

Both my grandparents had severe cognitive decline. I can't remember which one had which but I know my grandfather was much worse. Near the end, he didn't even know who anyone was. These are really helpful videos.

People with dementia need to be treated with respect. Also, I think sometimes the disease is exaggerated. Such people can remember more stuff than you think.

Also, despite the fact they cannot remember, that shouldn't stop people from enjoying outings with them. I mean, do people avoid outings with small children for the same reason?
