well that was pretty gross to watch lol but why men would know all about sanitary products I do not know because they will never need to.

I hate to keep harping on about "the way I was raised," but yet another end result of that is that I have always been curious about all things female and feminine, and periods fall into that category. Thanks to some help from an amazing friend and a good deal of personal research, I like to think I'm fairly well-rounded on my knowledge of periods. I'm odd in a lot of respects, so...:D

My fiance actually knows more than I do but he is a male nurse. LOL

He never had an issue with feminine products or period talk. I feel like any man who does is immature. My ex was this way. He couldn't even buy me tampons.

I agree with this, it's a subject anyone should be comfortable talking about, and to get squeamish is silly.

So you are saying something perfectly natural is gross? Every woman's body does it, 100% natural.
Also, men may not need to know it until they have a wife who wants them to go out and buy them something.

My husband knows a lot about periods and sanitary products. I can send him out to go buy what I need and unless the store is out of stock, I get what I would have bought myself.

If I would get something else, I would be very annoyed and may not even use the product because if it was a tampon that was too big or too small, for example, I couldn't use it.

How many men volunteer to run out and buy their women the products they need? Before we got married it was something my husband begged me to never ask of him, and I've never done that. He was teased a lot by his peers growing up and that fear of someone saying something to him is still a big fear.

I would happily buy my wife sanitary products, yeah. In fact, I do quite often. I don't know which type are for what and which are the best or anything, but if she shows me a picture, then sure - i'll buy them for her no problems at all. :)

Some men were born female and had to deal with periods, so not all men are like this. I just wish society wouldn't overlook us trans guys sometimes. :\ I mean I guess it's a blessing at most but also a curse.

I grew up watching how my mom and sisters battled with abdomen pain and cramps every month. In the meantime, I also learned how to help women who are suffering from period pain.

Nothing, men don't have them so can't even empathise, just sympathise and that will be mostly lip service as we haven't a clue how much havoc they play with women.

I am happy that I am learning a lot about the women's period. I have read a couple of books on it too and it has helped me understand what ovulation period and safe periods are all about.
