I own a social media strategy and marketing firm.

I am also a data intelligence specialist for QA-related functions for a very large manufacturing company.

What do you all do for a living?

Recently retired after nearly 40 years as an Executive Assistant working for elected officials in New York City Government. I have made lasting friendships with some who served as Councilmen/women, State Assemblymen/women, a District Attorney, a Senior US District Judge who also served under the Clinton Administration, Borough Presidents and my favorite ex-boss who is a NYS Senator - all Democrats of which I am not. There's tolerance for you. :hug3

I'm a full time caregiver for my mother who has dementia.

Was a programmer before that, but gave it up when it was obvious my mother needed help.

Before I retired I was a self-employed website developer for 20 years. Prior to running my own business I started out, straight from school, into retail; started on the shop floor, became section head, then deputy manager and then manager. After that I worked for a video rental company starting as a shop manager, then became training manager and finally area manager, but my area covered almost the entire UK (some area lol) with my weekly mileage often exceeding 3,000 miles.

After that I worked as a bar manager responsible for the stock, the staff and booking the live bands as it was on the live band circuit for the UK. That was a remarkable five years that I thoroughly enjoyed even though I worked seven days a week. During that time I was designing and printing business cards and leaflets for local businesses and that's when I decided to start my own business and the website development side became the dominant part of the business. I enjoyed that immensely and garnered a great deal of satisfaction from the creation side. Now I just dabble with developing hobby sites for myself.

I'm a programmer. Have been for eight years, and I'm still enjoying it (well, as much as anyone can enjoy any job :p )

Accessibility and Usability consultant. Currently an intern because I'm still at Uni and new to this field. Looking forward to learning a lot more about this role.

I guess your websites are one of them. Always fun to have a part of the internet to mess around with and spend time on. What other fun hobbies do you have?
I'm also an amateur author and am into RC (radio/remote control).

Ah, nice. That does sound quite interesting. What type of RC vehicles do you own? I've only ever owned a large F1 car and a helicopter (although the helicopter didn't last very long)

Actually I sold them all. lol Would have had like 7 or 8 by now. I just didn't stay interested. I prefer to spend money and time on the computer, etc. :)
