Gastritis is a digestive condition which occurs when the lining of the stomach becomes inflamed after it has been damaged. It s a common condition which has a wide range of causes.

For the majority of people, gastritis is not serious and improves with treatment. But if not, it can last for years.

Symptoms of gastritis

  • Indigestion
  • Gnawing and / or burning stomach pain
  • Feeling nauseous or being sick
  • feeling full easily
In more severe cases, if the stomach lining has been warn away and exposed to stomach acid (erosive gastritis), symptoms main include:
  • Pain
  • Bleeding
  • Stomach Ulcers
The symptoms of gastritis can come on suddenly and severely (acute gastritis) or last over a long period of time (chronic gastritis).

I had a friend who struggled with this. Ended up needing surgery to fix the problem. One sign no one seems to talk about is having acid burps and teeth erosion. It is actually a common sign you have something like this. Same with acid reflux.
