Star Trek…Enterprise

TLDR: Star Trek…Enterprise
The thread discussion is about the Star Trek series "Enterprise." The original poster started rewatching the series and asked for others' thoughts. Two users, Crystal and Lee, comment on their appreciation for the series, highlighting elements like the introductions of new races, the complex relationship between Earth and Vulcan, and specific episodes they enjoyed. They discuss the logical and critical thought process of the Vulcans and how it could be frustrating. They also mention a particular plot point about a lost human colony and the discovery of secrets the Vulcans were hiding. Towards the end, Lee mentions nearing the end of the series and references a plot involving a group called Tera Prime.

Rewatching the entire universe again, but google says to watch in chronological order we start with Enterprise.

Just watched SE:01 EP:01

Introducing many of the main characters and building the backstory.

Have you seen enterprise and what did you think?

Enterprise is my favourite of the Star Trek series, honestly. I love it, I think it's severely underrated as a series. The backstory of the first deep space capable Enterprise...just great!

Perfect. See the encounters with new races and even their appreciation of the Vulcans grow.
Absolutely agreed, it's fantastic seeing them meet the new races for the first time and how harsh the relationship was between Earth and Vulcan for so long.

Yes, their logical and critical thought process would be exceptionally annoying I would think. Just let me be impulsive already!

Really enjoying so far. We have found a lost human colony and discovered the Vulcans were indeed hiding things at their sanctuary!

Almost done with this now, two episodes left.

Tera Prime have taken charge of the weapon on mars and are making threats. Tucker and T’Pol have just met there poorly baby and Phlox cannot save her.

Yeah, season 4 is where the show starts to unravel a bit. It's disjointed and feels like they just needed more of a unifying thread to it all. Not another Xindi plot or anything, but... something. Terra prime is a decent storyline!

The Xindi evolved six distinct species from all walks of life including aquatics, an underwater dwelling species. The avians, the air-dwelling species all died out and then the insectoids and reptillians tried to become the dominant species with the help of "The Guardians" who were effectively just using them to push life out of the expanse. ...I don't know why I went down that tangent just to answer the aquatics question, lol
