UK Online Safety Act compliance — This page sets out our commitments under the UK Online Safety Act 2023.

Our safety commitments

  • We prohibit illegal content, including CSAM, terrorism, and hate speech.
  • We have a clear reporting mechanism for harmful content (the flag/report button on every post and comment).
  • Moderators review reports and take action within a reasonable timeframe.
  • We cooperate fully with UK law enforcement including the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) for CSAM.
  • We do not algorithmically recommend content to users based on engagement signals alone.

Child safety

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any detected CSAM is immediately removed and reported to the IWF and relevant authorities. Users who post CSAM will be permanently banned and reported.

Communities containing age-restricted content are gated behind an age-verification step.

Reporting harmful content

To report a post or comment, use the Report option available on every item. Reports are reviewed by moderators. For urgent safety matters email: [email protected]

Transparency

We publish moderation statistics periodically. Community moderators are identifiable by the "mod" badge in community sidebars.

Risk assessment

We conduct regular risk assessments of the service as required by the Online Safety Act to identify and mitigate risks of harm to users, particularly children.

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed unfairly, you may appeal by contacting the community moderator or emailing us. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
